What Is the Sculptra Facelift?
Turn back time with the SCULPTRA® Liquid Facelift – a medical treatment that can give you a fuller, fresher look for up to two years, sometimes even longer. Suitable for men and women, SCULPTRA® is one of our most popular anti-ageing treatments. Results are 100% natural and even continue to improve over time as the product is slowly absorbed and new collagen production is triggered. And there is NO surgery involved.
The benefits of SCULPTRA® include:
-
restoring lost volume in your upper face area (temples)
-
restoring lost volume in the middle areas of the face (tear trough, cheeks, the area under the cheeks, and nasolabial folds, which are the deep lines between your nose and mouth)
-
redefining and smoothing out the lower part of the face (marionette lines, pre-jowl sulcus).
If ageing is a concern for you, then book your comprehensive, no-obligation consultation today and discover how the SCULPTRA® Liquid Facelift can help.
How does it work?
Sculptra contains a biodegradable, biocompatible, synthetic material known as poly-L-lactic acid (PLA) that is injected deep into the skin by our skilled doctor. As this material is gradually absorbed by the body, it stimulates the skin’s cells to produce their own collagen (the skin’s structural protein), thus returning plumpness.
The Sculptra Liquid Facelift is so effective because it targets the underlying causes of the signs of ageing. Over time, rebuilt collagen strands begin to make your skin younger and firmer again, as well as smoothing out folds, fine lines and wrinkles. Sculptra is popular because it produces results that gradually improve over the initial months after treatment.
How long does the treatment take to work?
Some visible improvement can be seen immediately after treatment and within the ensuing few weeks. However, Sculptra is designed to deliver its unique effects over the course of a few months. Its strength and appeal lie in its longevity. Once your desired effect has been achieved, the average length of duration is around two to three years – that’s typically longer than other liquid facelifts.
Does it hurt?
The treatment involves a few quick injections and is relatively pain-free. The number of injections during each session will vary depending on your own personal concerns and goals, and the plan tailored by you and your doctor.
How many treatments are needed?
Depending on the degree of volume loss, we recommend two to four sessions. This will be discussed during your comprehensive consultation, and your progress will be monitored by our specialist doctor in ongoing free reviews.
Any cons?
The only drawback of the treatment is that final results appear gradually over time, rather than being instantly visible. Therefore, if you’re looking for an instant fix right before a big event, it may not be the right treatment for you.
